To the forgotten 9-24-04

Sorrow for the lost
thoughts un-penned
silent
never more to conjure
visions or moody clouds of wonder

decidedly plain paper
un-embellished, unvisited
waiting
never more caressed
by hands or eyes or ink of pen
unending loyal friend
wronged
and forgotten
but never forgetting
such and undeserving soul as mine
